Bangkok, Thailand, January 2024 – AviusULD, a leader in the global ULD (Unit Load Device) industry, is proud to announce the promotion of Charles Drummond to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). This strategic move comes as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its executive team and enhancing operational excellence.
Drummond, previously serving as Vice President of Business Development and Sales at AviusULD, brings over 25 years of rich experience in various domains. His journey, which began as a Mechatronics Engineer, has seen him develop extensive skills in leadership, operations management, commercial management, and business transformation, among others. Drummond is recognized for his significant contributions to the profitable growth of businesses, development of high-performing teams, and his expertise in project and change management.
In his new role, Drummond will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Sales and Business Development, Purchasing, and Plant Management functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration between these critical business units to achieve business goals and objectives.

As an additional key part of his new role, Drummond will be joining forces with Klaus Hofmann, CEO, and Élodie Saykham, CFO, in a newly formed executive committee. This committee aims to guide functional leaders towards creating added value for customers and stakeholders.
